As I lately have a little time, I had been surfing on the internet a few days ago. On the lookout for new, stirring tips, inspiring dishes that I have never tested before, to delight my loved ones with. Looking for quite some time but couldn't find any interesting stuff. Just before I wanted to give up on it, I came upon this yummy and easy treat by chance. The dessert seemed so scrumptious on its snapshot, it required prompt actions.
It was not difficult to imagine just how it's made, how it tastes and just how much my hubby might love it. Mind you, it is rather easy to please the guy when it comes to desserts. Anyhow, I went to the site: Ambitiouskitchen and used the step-by-step instuctions that have been combined with nice snap shots of the process. It really makes life rather easy. I could suppose it's a bit of a effort to shoot pics down the middle of cooking in the kitchen because you will often have sticky hands therefore i pretty appreciate the time and energy she placed in to make this post and recipe easily followed.
With that in mind I'm encouraged presenting my very own recipe in the same way. Thanks for the thought.

Ok, does that not look like heaven right now? Frosty Breyers Vanilla Ice Cream with a creamy cheesecake layer and a crunchy graham cracker crust on a hot and humid day...
Before I arrive at that, could i just say, this post was REALLY hard to write. Sampling Unilever's ice cream offerings this season, I am talking about you can imagine how I had to strap my young ones down for that. I am talking about, just look at them. They really had to suffer through.: D
We tried Magnum Ice Cream (mint flavor - OMG), Fruttare (coconut), Good Humor (chocolate eclair), Klondike (Reese's), Popsicle (grape/orange/cherry), and undoubtedly Breyers Within my family's typical fashion, everybody had a different favorite - big surprise! The best hands down was the mint Magnum bars, there are these little crunchy bits in the chocolate coating which can be amazing! Paul of course loved the Reese's Klondike bars because he's obsessed with any such thing peanut butter and ice cream. Silas "love, love, loved" (his words) the orange Popsicles. Specifically the orange ones. And we can only assume Wesley's favorite was the coconut Fruttare because it took him about 30 minutes to eat the whole thing.
Seriously, running this blog is extremely difficult sometimes people.
And here it is, probably the best way you will EVER eat vanilla ice cream!!
Vanilla Ice Cream Cheesecake
3 tablespoons PLUS 2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 container (1. 5 quart) Breyer's vanilla ice cream
whipped cream and cherries (if desired) (on second thought, it's required)
Combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press in to the bottom of a spring form pan. Freeze for 15 minutes. In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy - set aside. Soften ice cream (leave on counter for 5 minutes, or microwave at 15 second intervals) and spread onto the frozen crust, ensuring it's packed down. Spread cream cheese layer over ice cream. Freeze for 5 hours or over night. When prepared to serve, leave cheesecake sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes. Use a knife dipped in tepid to warm water to slice.
Whipped cream and cherry go on top, you know the drill.

Two things that I think I really could happily live off of (OK I might eventually get sick of them but it's doubtful) combined into one. Hello I think I'm in heaven.
